Our herd consists mostly of the beautiful does we purchased from the Waiilaptu and Bayview herds. We also have some Nodaway, Troubled-Waters, Chateau Briant and Kismet. We have culled and worked with our lines until we feel we have laid the foundation for a herd of Alpines worthy of creating the next generation of GCH's in the breed.

Well.... I have to make an exception, Bruce fell in LOVE with Sabrina so she is first. Sabrina is such a sweetie and she loves Bruce as much as I do I think, LOL:):)

This is what Kathy and Susan wrote about Sabrina in their sales list from 2000, "Sabrina is near ideal in long bone pattern stature, lenght, and levelness. She received 2 milking legs in 2000 as a 2 yr old being 2 X GCH, 1 X RGCH, 1 X BOB/BU. She excells in dairy character and body capacity as well. Her udder is tightly attached all the way around."

Shaggy is like fine wine, she gets better and better with age. Our only Recorded Grade. Shaggy is really a registered Alpine, however, when my friend bought her she placed an ear tag in her ear that forever knocked out her herd identification. So, she therefore is a RG.

"V...V" as she is affectionaly called is a very sweet doe. She will always be the first to greet you when she sees you and calls to you. I will call "V...V" and she will answer me no matter what. I just love this doe. Verona was sold at nationals in Harrisonburg at the sale afterwards. She then went on to win her GCH in 1999. We also have her doe kid from 2000 here too. We purchased these fine animals from Jean Lucas in the late spring of 2000.
